My story

Yes I was born with arthrogryposis in 1967. Back then they put people in state institutions that would like me cuz they did not understand that we were not disabled in  in our brain. My mother said no. I stayed and Shriners Hospital in Missouri for up to 6 months for surgery my mom lived in Indiana. When she came to pick me up she didn't recognize me lol. My legs were strict and my feet or straight. I wore braces most of my childhood. I also have Percy disease in my left Hip I had to hip replacements. I have one blood sibling. And I have half brothers and sisters. I do have a half brother that does have arthrogryposis where he is that I do not know. My father and his wife at the time put I'm in a state institution. I have helped raised several of my nieces and nephew. & I have my own child she's  19 now and out on her own.
