Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

Yes, I was diagnosed at age 47.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Just trying to keep going everyday because I feel tired all the time.

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

My son has always been there and hasn't left my side since my surgeries.

What things have you stopped doing?

A lot of normal family things, I don't get out a lot or travel and go on trips like I used to.

What do you think about the future?

I don't know, I hope to have my home and have things taken care of for my son if anything ever happens to me.

So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?

Since my diagnosis I have found the job that I wanted the most and tried to do things Ive not done before, I bought a new car and a home, trying to think of my son everyday.

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

Struggling all the way, because Ive raised my son alone.

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

Pray and get with God while you have the chance and cherish what time you have left with family.
