How did all start?

Was on vacation in the UK, went to bed at night without any symptoms, woke up with pain in my legs and feet, struggled to walk,

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

No, went to hospital and was diagnosed

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

Received Polycam

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

I believe receiving Polycam shortly after diagnosed saved my day

What have been your biggest difficulties?

The time in ICU, two weeks

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Had all the support I can ask for, relations and social situations do change when sick and in a wheelchair

What things have you stopped doing?

Less travel,

What do you think about the future?

Very positive, full recovery

So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?

Time before GBS, will come again

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

Carry on with life as is

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

Handicapped but thankful to be alive
