My life in purple

ITP came into my life and changed me forever.
With her, I learned the value of this moment and how much life is ephemeral.
I won warrior friends and today chose to fight for all who have not found remission.
I'm grateful to have won a new chance!!
The person who becomes a patient wants to tell the world of his pain. First, because she feels isolated, in the "little room." Second, because no one understands her at first, and she feels obliged to explain in detail what she is feeling.
If you are a person who follows positivist philosophies and etc. do not visit or assist a person with ITP. What we least want, at the time of illness and pain, is to hear that we should speak positive words or ignore disease.
As I have already said, disease is not an enemy, but a peculiarity. To ignore it is to nullify a part of us. This is cruel to someone who is already struggling to keep their hopes up.
Another aspect that arises with an ITP is the fear of another autoimmune disease. Most physicians believe that ITP is a primary disease and that when it becomes chronic, it is anticipating another autoimmune disease.
For this reason, many patients are discharged, but never fail to take monthly exams. And the feeling that something can go wrong still accompanies us.
Therefore, I always tell others that one should respect a person with an autoimmune disease very much because this person will never again have a moment of complete peace in his life.
