How did all start?
My son was a micro-preemi (born at 25 weeks gestation)
He was placed under the bili light a few times in his first weeks of life but also had respiratory challenges. We were told his athetosis was due to hypoxia for years. We didn't even know kernicterus existed until we saw Cincinnati Children's Hospital movement disorder clinic physicians.

13 years and 1.5 years to confirm it.
