Mar 17, 2017

I am a 27 year old stay at home mom and wife. I turn 28 in april. End of january i was diagnosed with lupus january 2017 and march 10 2017 i was diagnosed with vasculitis after lots of tests were ran. Let me back it up though...i had knee surgery feb 16 and everything was going great until the first week of March. I started having issues with a bruise on my foot from surgery. I started having alot of pain could barely put any pressure on my leg and then i couldnt put any weight at all on it. I went to physical therapy the next week and bam everything went downhill. They sent me for an upper leg ultrasound, then a lower leg ultrasound, then the next day an mri with iv contrast and that night my knee doctor called me and said you need to be at the hospital at 8am because if not you will lose your foot. I said okay wow thats crazy. He said the mri showed something but we arent 100% sure what. Thats where the angiogram came into play. It was very painful and scary. ..a few hours later i was diagnosed with vasculitis. I spent 2 days in the hospital. I have my foot thank God. And that about sums up the past few months!
