igradaille's interview
How did all start?
Several bacterial infections, virus, lots of medications, mold exposures, chemical exposure at work and home. My lung's health started to decline, allergies, panic attacks, health anxiety, inflammation in general.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
No, after years of being ignored by incapable doctors. I started my own quest to find out and solve my health issues.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Allergies, immunology, none of them helpful.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Diet and study.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
That others understand my health issues.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
First was devastating, everyone thinks your overreacting or crazy. But after a few ER visits and anaphylactic reactions to chemicals and mold, my family really took the things seriously. Most of my friends smoke, so i don't go out with them anymore. Work place is still a challenge. My boyfriend is adapted to my chemical free environment.
What things have you stopped doing?
Going out. Party. Shopping.
What do you think about the future?
It gets better.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
University lol.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Properly work the land, gardening without a mask. Compost!
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
A mess of details.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Dont give up, is a challenge, you can do it, keep walking, stand up, study, diet, detox, rebuild, nourish you.
