Story about Multiple Sclerosis .

Diagnosis a long time coming

Dec 2, 2

At the age of 12yrs I had a significant single neurological 'episode' it lasted a couple of months and resoved by itself and was labled a virus.

At the age of 21yrs I lost use of my left side for 6months but recovered and it quieried it might be ms, but was labelled a virus in the end.. It happened 6months before I was due to be married. Iwanted to call off the wedding as I had nursed people in advance stages of ms but my fiance told me he wanted to be the one to look after me and that would be easier if we were married. I walked down the aisle and have neve looked back. 22years later we are still besotted with each other and are comitted to looking after each other and our family. I have a strong Christian faith which has given me strenght and hope in the bad times and strength and hope to enjoy the good times as well and not be trapped by the monster of ms that tries to limit and pull you down!!

I was finally diagnosed in 1992 when my youngest child was 12weeks old.

There is much more to tell so will add more as time goes on! :)
