How did all start?

Voluntary mammogram aged 40. Followed by ultrasounds, fine needle biopsy, then core tissue biopsy. Referral to a surgeon and removal of lesions within 3mths

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

5 lesion removals over last two years. 4 confirmed benign rumours. 5 more lesions present. Appeared within 3mths if last surgery.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Regular check-ups. Three to six months.

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Infection after first surgery. Regular recurrence, with in crease in lesions each time. 2, then 3, now 5

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Yes, changed. Worry, stress.

What do you think about the future?

Surgery, mastectomy, death
