How did all start?

Diagnosed PCOS during early twenties. 3 natural conceptions and healthy children. Inaccurately diagnosed ADD until intuitive OB/GYN intervened.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

4 years.

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

Psychotherapy.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Citalopram.

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Rage. Depression.

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Put a serious strain on all relationships until diagnosed and treated.

What things have you stopped doing?

Raging!

What do you think about the future?

I'm in peri-menopause and am hoping that menopause will cure all other symptoms.

So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?

My late twenties - three babies in three years. I was pregnant so had no symptoms at all.

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

Be thin!

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

Somewhat settled now but it took years. 8 years of treatment with antidepressants and 10 years of psychotherapy.
