How did all start?
I got injured lifting at work possibly due to underlying degenerative disk disease and RA.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes, almost a year, but it runs in my family.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Pain specialist, physical therapy, rheumotologist, sleep specialist
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Pain management, methotrexate
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Pain, neuropathic pain, stiffness, fatigue, spine damage

Right now working because of severity
What do you think about the future?
Hoping I can get controll of my condition and life through treatment.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Late teens/early 20s very happy, productive, independant.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Go hiking again, get back to work, persue sign language interpreting
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Exhausting
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Get a good support system.
