Story about Panhypopituitarism .

Cushings Disease that led to Panhypopituitarism

Dec 2, 2

A few doctors theorized my pregnancy caused a macro adenoma. I began having weird symptoms before I was diagnosed i.e. My hair started falling out, my nails began to pit, I had galactorrhea even though I quit nursing a year before, no menses, and I started rapidly gaining weight. Even dieting I was averaging 8 to 9 lbs.

I was hospitalized for blinding episodes. I had a transphenoidal surgery to remove the tumor. A week later I returned with my first CFS Leak. Two weeks after that another CFS Leak occurred. I had a craniotomy with a VP shunt placement.

Since then I have lost both anterior and posterior hormones. Apparently according to medical books only one of them counts as Panhypopituitarism . I dehydrate immediately in hot weather, I suffer with migraines, and sick spells. Since then I have been diagnosed with bone degeneration, SLE Lupis, Lymes Disease, scoliosis, and I have difficulty in social settings.
