Story about Pancreatitis .

Diagnosis

Dec 2, 2

By: Laurna

since the ages of being a toddler, I've had attacks of something but they never did the right tests to find the right diagnosis. Until, December 2014 was I then diagnosed with pancreatitis. Ever since I have found out that it is a mutation (PRSS1 gene). And have chronic pancreatitis with 6 attacks of acute pancreatitis. Also, not making the situation any better I have already early signs of fibrosis and my pancreas is slowly calcifying (collecting stones). Although, this is a lot of stress, including through all my GCSE year, I still manage to keep a smile on my face. And I will do for the rest of my life☺️
