Story about Trichotillomania , Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

Little intro

Aug 10, 2017

By: Theresa

Hello! My name is Theresa; I've been pulling my hair (head/scalp) since I was about 10 years old.

It started with peeling split ends, then pulling the whole split hair out, then hairs that "felt funny" and then, finally: in middle school we were given microscopes and the science teacher said we could look at the roots of our hair. So it ended up with me pulling out hair to get roots.

It's been off/on ever since- mostly on. I'm actively working on harm reduction and treating my most beat-up spot: the top of my scalp. Most of my hair is growing in white st this point (I'm 31) but it's still hair!
