How did all start?

Extreme pain in my legs. Sore throats and fever.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

I did not have a diagnosis at the time.

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

I see a Rheumatologist for my disease

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Being on the biologic Ilaris

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Being in constant pain

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Both my friends and family have been very supportive

What things have you stopped doing?

Working. Cooking. House cleaning. Driving

What do you think about the future?

I hope that my biologic continues to work. I am able to do so much more than some others with Still's.

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

Go on living life to the fullest extent. Travel to Europe. Take vacations anytime, not planned around my injection every 4 weeks. Do volunteer work. Enjoy the simple things like standing up from a sitting position with no pain.

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

My life has been good

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

Take one day at a time.
