Story about Arachnoiditis .

AA my story

Apr 4, 2017

I injured my back in 1992. 5 surgeries and 4-5 epidurals later I was diagnosed with AA.  I worked as a nurse for over 35 years and had never heard of Arachnoiditis. Now I am unable to work due to the pain and discomfort,  can't stand sit or walk for long. I also have autoimmune symptoms such as chemical sensitivities, rashes, headaches, joint discomfort, and temperature sensitivity. Also some short term memory issues but this could be due to medications also. I have very good pain management  (thank heavens)and currently take narcotics daily.

So sorry you also suffer this dreadful disease. Your story was written in 2017. I was wondering how you manage your pain today? Many of us have had the medications that allowed us to function either taken away or reduced to levels that do not properly provide relief.
