How did all start?

In 2016 started having reoccurring bronchitis and pneumonia, I had been smoking for over 20 years at the point. Even when the bronchitis/pneumonia got better my lungs were in even worse shape. I quit smoking for good in January 2018, still have occasional issues but now control flares with 4 different meds.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

An absolutely awesome PA who took time to monitor my illnesses and symptoms for the long term.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Quitting smoking!!! Wished I had never started when I was 13.

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Weather

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Not really

What things have you stopped doing?

Can’t push myself as my anymore without gasping for breath.

What do you think about the future?

Just trying to survive

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

Just trying to survive the battles and plain on long term winning the war.
