How did all start?
I got bit by a brown recluse spider and was misdiagnosed for 5 days.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
I got the diagnosis within six months of the injury.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Trying to figure out how to handle life and this disease with as little medications as possible. I don't know how to find a doctor to treat me
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
I am so different now and I don't like it. I keep to myself so much. I cry constantly and over nothing but lol over everything. I feel weak, scared and unsure what to do most of the time but I want to be strong and so I am a fool and keep most everything to myself
What things have you stopped doing?
Running daily, exercising, playing with my kids, being social
What do you think about the future?
not a lot lol
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
BE OUTSIDE! I love being outside, and in all of the different seasons. I love running and sports. And skiing, playing in the snow, sledding...I miss those
