12/23/15- 3 day long sore throat, negative strep test

12/31/15- severe stomach pain occurring in waves and causing doubling over cramping 

1/2/16- ankle swelling, pain, minor purpuric rash on ankle 

1/4/16- severe knee swelling, severe pain, rash spreading to legs and trunk. Positive strep test, elevated labs/urine. Tap negative for infection, admitted to hospital and diagnosed with Henoch-Schonlein Purpura by symptoms (swelling of joints, stomach pain, rash). Strep treated with antibiotic. 

Kidneys being monitored through December.
