Story about Hyperparathyroidism .

A Hyperparathyroidism story

Dec 18, 2015

After 15yrs of aches and pains, 13 years of bowel problems and 10 years of kidney stones and high calcium results I finally was diagnosed with primary hyperparathyroidism thanks to my mums doctors managing to diagnose my mother and recommending I be tested.

With results of calcium 2.82 and pth 25.5 I was referred to sheffield hallamshire where Mr Peter Truran (now at Newcastle) removed a large tumour from my chest on 26.11.2015 after all scans being negative.

Recovering slowly now but seeing improvements everyday.
