Story about Ostomy .

A Ostomy story

May 16, 2017

6/10/2013 I was diagnosed with stage 3C rectal cancer. The tumor was at the sphincter so colostomy was always the result when removing the tumor. In some respects it has been the easy part, the radiation, chemotherapy and surgeries have been far more difficult. I just had my hernia incarcerate resulting in a surgical procedure to remove the original stoma, and create a new one. I'm healing again one more time. Cancer the gift that keeps on giving.
