How did all start?
All my life I was always sick without an explenation. In 2016 I got an itch over my whole body, it felt like my blood was itching, everytime I scratched it hurt! My doctor couldn’t find anything so as always, I went on with my life. Mag 2017, after I got back from my honeymoon I had a weird pain in my legs, the doctor said jetlag. After a week the pain got much worse and I got also pain in my feet. I couldn’t walk or sleep, I was in so much pain and went to the ER. No doctor knew what it was and sent me to another hospital to get an second opinion. My pain went worse and went also in my arms and hands. Then after 8 months and to many test, they told me it’s small fiber neuropathy.

Yes, about 8 months
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Nothing because the medication doesn’t help
What have been your biggest difficulties?
The pain and not knowing how my future will be with sfn
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Yes, Some don’t understand and some do, they help me wherever they can. I don’t go out so much.
What things have you stopped doing?
Working, sports

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Just be normaal, go to work, have kids

Don’t give up hope!
