Story about Turner Syndrome .

Megan's TS Tale

Jan 24, 2016

By: Megan

Diagnosis of TS around 3yrs old, Growth hormone injections for 10+ years. I had an EKG in 2008 which showed no signs for concern. I haven't had steady or good insurance so I haven't been able to follow up with the endocrinologist.

The hardest part of TS for me to accept is the infertility. I have struggled with not being able to have children. I work in a daycare center, and spend time with nieces and nephews whenever I can.

My amazing husband is a big support for me, Knowing that we will not have children and he is very cool with that. He is a great and loving uncle to our nieces and nephews.
