A Adult-onset Stills Disease story

Feb 26, 2016

I began feeling a pain in my ankle at 23. I  had a c-section the year before and in that same year, I was mildly electrocuted twice. I thought I'd mention this, but am told that has nothing to do with the diagnoses. I was on steroids for many years to combat the fevers and paralyzing muscle and joint pain. I've tried several injections and dozens of medications. I briefly lost my eyesight for a brief minute while combating a fever for a week. I have bone loss and other spinal issues.., nerves have been burned in my spine to treat that. I also am dealing with rhynauds disease. My platelet count is abnormally high. Still in pain, I carry on, because that's all you can do!
