I had fallen back in late winter of 2003, I saw my Primary Care and she had sent me to Boston Medical to have an MRI done on my lower spine. I then followed up with the doctor. According to the techs they said i was fine. So i continued on with my life with living in extreme amounts of pain. So 15 years had gone by and i still in this much pain finally broke down and went to a different hospital here in Boston. Tufts Medical (New England Medical Center) became my god send. I found out from the ER Doc that my lumbar section was in a lot of serious trouble. Any where from L3 thru S1 was a mess, and i needed a few surgeries to correct it or i would be in a wheel chair. My heart sank to the floor, here i am a mom to a beautiful boy who has special needs and my amazing husband and the word wheel chair didn't sit well in my book! I had one surgery in the summer of 2017 and it helped a bit but 10 months later i went in for my 1st fusion in the spring of 2018. Now i am doing a little bit better but i am due for one more surgery, but can no longer work. I am showing that i ain't no quitter and not going to let a disease take me over
