In Dec. 2013 I had a Nissen Fundoplication.  I have had problems ever since then.  I have undergone 3 stomach emptying test (4 Hr.).  My GI Dr. referred me to Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ and they repeated all of the tests that I had already had but added a 24 hour Stomach Emptying Test.  At the end of the 24 hours, I still had 55% of the egg sandwich in my stomach.  I suffer every day with bloating, pain, diarrhea/constipation, (I can not vomit due to the Fundoplication) but I do suffer with nausea, and weight loss.  I have lost over 55 lbs. in less than a year, my hair is thinning, I am allergic to many, many drugs so no medications, my days are often spent in pajama's, I live on a pureed foods and liquid diet 24/7, I follow a GP diet all the time and still have pain every time I eat and I owe so much money to Mayo and I have no idea how I am going to ever be able to pay it off.  I have IBSC, Dystonia caused from Reglan, GERD, and bowel emptying problems.  I have to go to my PCP every 4 months for blood work, I go to Mayo every other month for check ups on the GP and I go to a neurologist every 4 months for treatment of the Dystonia.  I am so tired of my life, my food, and not having the happy times.   My Husband and I are living off of our retirement and Medicare but there is never enough money.   I need help.  We need a cure!!!
