N's interview

How did all start?

My son was born with Hirschsprungs in Christchurch hospital in 2012. Diagnosed day 3, op day 10. Had further stenosis of bowel that wasn't diagnosed until 3 months, colostomy, then second pull through 6 months. Failure to thrive.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

Great surgeon Kiki Moate

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Battling the behavior around the disease. My son has regular accidents which he doesn't acknowledge or fix. May need ACE if accidents continue.

Great marriage but it's very hard on us. Very frustrated.
