Cynthia's interview
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes. Took 40 years. And several wrong diagnosis
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Removal of chemicals /synthetic smells in the home. Not eating GMO chemical laden food. No prescriptions as they are toxic and create symptoms. Mitochondrial repair supplements.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
The public using febreez in homes, cars and laundry detergents.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Took years but I just don't give a shit anymore, I'm loud and I speak up if someone reeks of detergents. I'll leave no matter who it is.
What things have you stopped doing?
I've walked out of Pilates many times. I don't visit some people's homes who use air fresheners or candles.
What do you think about the future?
People are getting sick and they wonder why, I don't. It is crazy that people who have cancer or auto immune still surround themselves in toxic chemicals and wonder why they are not healing.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Recently. I live near the beach and the constant fresh air and oxygen is very helpful
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Hug more people
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Highly aware of my surroundings
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Detox from the inside out with red clay, get a gene test for MTHFR. Take mitochondrial repair supplements to help heal the damage done by the exposure. It really helps the body heal.
