Walk in my shoes...

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in 2011 where I was hitfrom behind by another driver. I had immediate pain in the neck in the right shoulder and in my head. Since the motor vehicle accident I have undergone 3 right shoulder surgery, 2 cervical fusions at C 4 5 & 6, 4 trigger releases of the right hand, carpal and cubital tunnel release in the right arm. I have had a multitude of failed nerve blocks of the cervical, occipital and sub occipital area as well as a internal nerve stimulation failure of the occipital nerve.

 

I have been on too many medications to name from the simple ones like Topamax which lead to kidney damage with continual kidney stones to Duragesic patches and methadone with failure of all. I've been told is something that I will probably have to live with for the rest of my life and i don't see me being able to withstand that. 

I maintain a pain level of 5 to 6, 24/7 and when the pain is at its worst It Feels Like a Knife going through the back of my neck and head and makes me want to just end it all.
