How did all start?

I had lots of itching fatigue body pain, no one seem to know why,This was around 2011.I wasnt diagnosed until I went toE.R. for problem with anfib an all my blood work came back all out of whack the ER doctor sent me to a hematologist oncologist this was in 2016.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

It was 5 years when I found out I was Jak2 positive

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

Phlebotomy, aspirin,blood thinners,an now Jakafi twice a day.Jakafi

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Jakafi an blood thinners

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Fatigue,itching

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Great no changes they are just more supportive.

What things have you stopped doing?

Not as active.

What do you think about the future?

Hope for a cure. Live each day to the fullest

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

Travel more

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

Happy an satisfying

Never give up. Give thanks for everyday an live like it was your last.
