A Sjogren story

In 2000 I was diagnosed with having hypothyroid. I felt better after getting to the right dosage of synthroid. But Then what I now know are flares I'd feel bad again. I went to the dr telling them that the synthroid wasn't working. I got lucky to have a clinic open at my job. I just happened to be in a flare when I had my first appointment. I could hardly move my hands and it was cold out for florida so my hands were worse. I was in tears explain my symptoms. This wonderful dr. thought I had lupus. But she took blood and called me 3days later and asked me to come over. I went and she said I had RA and the eye and mouth problems were probably secondary Sjorgrens. She got me to a Rhematologist and he confirmed it. I changed Drs. due to the drugs he was pushing. The new dr told me my RA factor was only 79 so they said I had fibromyalgia and OA. So I haven't gone back since. Now I have gotten to a point where I can't stand it I will be going back after the new year. Still afraid of the drugs but I can't be like this anymore.
