How did all start?
Childhood. Did not receive treatment well into adulthood.

No. 30 plus years.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Medication, mindfulness and therapy
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Staying focused, following through on projects, school, social difference, anxiety, moving a lot, changing jobs/careers due to lack of focus and drive to achieve.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Family, work and friends have varied depending on several factors.
It has been extremely difficult on my family.
What things have you stopped doing?
Reading, writing, working full-time.
What do you think about the future?
I’m always concerned about being able to manage.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Happy years.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Travel more, have a successful career, be respected.
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Tragic. I had an adopted mother who was abusive, an alcoholic mother who tried to kill me and blamed me for all of her problems.
Bullied as a child at school.
One difficult experience after another.
Had a child with Rett’s Syndrome who passed away in 2011.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Seek help immediately and don’t blame yourself.
