It started with a cough

Sep 10, 2017

By: Chris

Year Condition Began: 2012

I had been having a dry cough for months and told my doctor. She sent me to an ENT. He was going to just dismiss my symptoms but I kept telling him that there was something wrong. He finally checked my throat and my left vocal cord wasn't working. He then ordered a biopsy and I had ACC on my larynx. My diagnosis came in April 2012 in May I had a feeding tube inserted. I started radiation in June and had 35 radiation treatments and 6 chemo treatments. I finished the treatments in mid July.
