As a child I would have severe stomach pain and it was always assumed I had a stomach virus

C1 inhibitor given through my port

Getting the C1inhibitor put back in my blood by IV every 3 days

My 2 pregnancies because they were before the medicine was available before

Before the medication was available I missed lots of planned family activities. Also medical bills went out of the roof

The future looks brighter because medications are getting better all the time.

The day I had my first born child started the best part of my life. Then my second son was born and life has been about my two sons and my husband.

I would have had a third child.

I feel like a piece of a puzzle that went missing from the box it was suppose to be in.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Knowledge is power! Learn everything you can about yourself, your disorder and don’t be ashamed to inform others about yourself.
