How did all start?
From birth, as far as I can recall

No, I assume it is congenital anosmia
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Breast cancer (treatment saved my life) glaucoma trigeminal neuralgia (still searching for answers)
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
No useful information regarding anosmia yet, in terms of personal improvement
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Burning things in the kitchen
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
I have not had a lot of reactions to this condition
What things have you stopped doing?
I must remind myself to be more aware of hygience
What do you think about the future?
For the first time, I wonder if there might be a chance for me to smell in this lifetime.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Being with my husband, before and after a long separation, who is now gone, and enjoying sharing life with a soul mate. Raising my son, a pleasure and time of discovery.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Smell everything! Flowers, outdoors, cooking..
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Born into music with a thirst for knowledge, challenged by love and loss in unforeseen ways.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Don't look back, today is the moment.
