I had a ascending and complete arch replacement. My incision is high, to my neck.
My surgeon told me that in 20 years open procedures will hopefully be a thing of the past In 2016 he told me that my surgery had to be open because of the arch and the location and that they cannot access the arch through endovascular surgery. Just recently I read that they are doing arch endovascularly in some countries
