How did all start?

Post op March 2019. Had transphenoidal brain surgery for recurring pituitary tumor. Had lumbar drain placed to drain CSF and keep pressure down. Drain in for 7 days. Have had horrible back pain ever since. Arachnoiditis dx’d by MRI.

Neurosurgery and Pain Management. Neurosurgeon most helpful

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Loss of independence

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Yes. I rarely go out anymore, and if I do, I have to take pain meds

What things have you stopped doing?

Travel

2013 till 2019. Moved to Seattle to be with daughter and SIL and help w grandkids
