Bladder cancer

I have had bladder cancer for 10 years now. I passed blood in my urine. By the time they found it, it had progress to stage four bladder cancer. That is when the cancer has gotten though the wall of the bladder. They removed my bladder and form a urostomy. I simple words I now wear a bag to pee in. This saved my life in 2013. I have now been cancer free ever since by semi annal CT and Bone scans. I live a nomal life now. I have very little trouble out of that bag I wear and only have to change it once a week. If I may recomend a FB group of Urostomy Awareness. It is a closed group for people that has or going to have a urostomy.

This group answers all the quesitions you may have. https://www.facebook.com/groups/406696311012/

I'm going to check out the facebook group and tell my fiance to do the same, he is most likely going to have to have this done.  He was just diagnosed two weeks ago but everything is moving fast.  He is stage two and we're both trying to absorb as much info as possible and all we're seeing is "death in 5 years, death in two years if you're above stage one" so we're terrified.  He just had bone scans done today and will know results tomorrow to see the exact extent of his cancer.
