Story about Brain Tumor .

Pseudotumor Cerebri (IIH)

Nov 27, 2017

By: Hannah

Year Condition Began: 2017

I had been having headaches every day that won’t go away. My vision started decreasing to the point I couldn’t really see. My ears were ringing and swishing to every heartbeat. It sounded like a hurricane in my head. 30+ ER runs for them to pump me up with drugs and tell me I’m just there for drugs... 40+ LPs for pressures between 7-56. They finally realized I wasn’t lying there was a cause. 2 hospitals Johns Hopkins and Baylor. Finically Baylor in Texas said we have to do something. In April 2017 I had my VP shunt put in. I had to learn how to do things all over again and how to adjust to my life. It’s hard.
