How did all start?
Migraines in middle school. Minor clusters in High School. Around 23, first cluster cycle started and hits every year since.

Yes. Several years.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
O2, Prednisone, Sumatripitan and Verapamil
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Functioning during a cycle.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Most are supportive. Work luckily has been very understanding.
What things have you stopped doing?
Living normally during a cycle. It affects work, home, plans and relationships
What do you think about the future?
Unsettling to think there is no cure and people with this condition may have to suffer the forever
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Pre Cluster Cycke years easily. Travelled, toured playing music, lots of enjoyable normal life experiences
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Start living again
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Trapped and painful
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Find a headache specialist with experience treating these things. If they are helping, don’t be afraid to ask others what they do as most education comes from other patients, not doctors.
