How did all start?
Work related injury...had a right and left torn tfcc and 5 herniated disc in my back which...led to crps in both right and left hands and arms.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes I have been diagnosed and it took about 6 months
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
I am on meds and nerve blocks every week. At this time exploring spinal cord stimulator or pain pump.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Things have been starting to not work as they have but heating pads and ketamine with my meds so far and I am hoping the stimulator works for me for relief.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Dealing with workman’s Comp and sleeping and being comfortable as been my biggest difficulties.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Return to work and be an electrician.
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
My life seems to be one big fire ball of pain.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Hang in there and keep on moving forward... don’t give up as I tell myself everyday I wake up.
