Lallia's interview
How did all start?
While in a coma a DVT went through my left limbs. Did damage to my hand/wrist.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes, 18 months because no one listened to me and took me seriously.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Gabapentin and Vicodin.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Having a normal life. The pain and lack of use in the hand make life miserable.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
I rarely leave my home. RARELY.
What things have you stopped doing?
Almost everything. It's all such a chore.
What do you think about the future?
Not much. Bleak.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
I've had a difficult life. Nothing came easy, always a struggle.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Enjoy life, socialize and travel.
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Sad, pained, and lonely.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Remember to breath.
