I had this since birth

I have one. Took 30 years to get.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Neurology, mitochondrial dysfunction
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Amitriptyline in combination with the so called mito cocktail: L-Carnitine, CoQ10 and B vitamins
What have been your biggest difficulties?
I was misdiagnosed and so treated very wrong for about 30 years. No one in my country has ever heard of Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Not really - as I never WAS healthy

The years since getting the correct diagnosis, then I actually found working medication

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Being chronically sick is a thing which affects all aspects of life, but you can find happiness :-)
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Never stop looking for working medication!
