Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
It took from birth to three months of age to get the diagnosis.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
The doctor I see the most is my neurologist but I have seen neurosurgeons, physical therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, gastrointestinal, useful would probably be physical therapist because I don't fall as much.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
The right doctors.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Remembering
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Family is supportive.
What things have you stopped doing?
Hanging out with friends.
What do you think about the future?
I am worried about doing something productive and enjoyable for a job.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
High school. I played the tuba in marching band.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Be a doctor
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
my life gets hard then easy depending on my frame of mind.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Look for anything happy or fun to keep a positive outlook.
