The Way Out Of The Dark

31.12.2015

Von: Julia

I was very ill when I was 12. I felt like my body want to give up or hate me. When I was trying to go to school my body knock me down. In the evening it was a bit better but my parents told me to stay at home and don't visit friends, because I wasn't at school. I was at the doctor two or three times a week. Somedays I only want a diagnosis, don't matter what I have. I want to know why my stomach hurt so much. I felt like this a few month. Hard time. Horrible time. In February my doctor told me to do a colonoscopy. The colonoscopy made me happier than anything else in this time. Often I screamed and cried in the time, in which I must eat gluten-containing-food. When I got the diagnosis "celiac disease" everything changed. Me, the pizza lover, couldn't eat pizza anymore. In the beginning time it was very hard to change my life so basicly. But with the time I gained experience and I know what to eat and what not. What tasts good and what definitely not. With the time I found (am finding) my way with celiac disease.

Yeah that was my story! Tell my ours! I am so intrested in hearing stories from other people from other cities/ countries.

I'm looking forward to hear from you (in English / German or Spanish)

Julia
