How did all start?

PE & DVT caused my contraceptive pill when I was 16.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

Was diagnosed with Factor V while in hospital. Then diagnosed with protein c deficiency a few months later.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

The knowledge I now have about blood clots and the ways to prevent them.

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Dealing with the PTSD after my clots.

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

My family including my partner are nothing but supportive.

What do you think about the future?

I’m looking forward to starting my little family with my partner.

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

Amazing

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

It sucks at times, but there are many people out there worse off, and you should count yourself lucky if you get to live another day
