My story

The doctors know that I have this since I am in the pregnant body of my mom. Since that, I am carefully followed for it. At 5years old, they had to repair my inter-auricular communication. They tried to do it by catheterization, but the hole was too big and not well placed. So, March 10 th of 2004, I have got my open heart surgery. It was a success. Some years after, my condition was going down and down. In 2013-2014, I had difficulty to walk in stairs, can you imagine that? I was so tired. So I have got a second big open heart surgery. It was July 7th. They reconstructed abig part of the right side of my heart, and I received a biological valve to replace my tricuspid valve. After this one, I felt terrible. The doctors gave me a lot of medicine and I stayed in the intensive care unit for a long time. But after a month of recuperation, I was going better and better. For the first time I was able to run. It was really nice. Now, I am training so when I will turn 18, I will be able to run to raise money for the ones who changed my life. I am so happy to finally be kind of normal. For the instance, I cannot run for more than 10 consecutive minutes, because I have 15 years of cardio exercise to retake, but I am determined and I will reach my objective, I am sure... Never give up guys!!
