Leaving with Gastorparesis

Dec 31, 2017

well I can tell you I been deal with this for a long time but just got diagnosed with gastorparesis back in 2015 but went through a lot with pain and bloating and it was hell. Now I have a GJ tube and have lost a lot of weight to about 98lb where I was at 127 from all the bloating and air in my tummy. Now I am still in pain and on Feedings because I am not hungry and when I do eat or try I am just get sick and vomit and in pain so they switched me over to feeds which been working but I am on a slow drip for now. 20ml per 20hours and 40ml every 3hours on fluids. so I am suppose to increase it as days go by in 3day increments but I get sick so I just take it slow. so at this point my doctor is just trying to get my weight up so I able to with hold surgery for my gastrostomy I am afraid and don't know what to expect form the surgery after all said and done. has anyone had this before and what is the outcome and are do you stay on your feedings for life? well thank you for listening to me happy holidays to everyone.
