How did all start?
Got pregnant 09/18. Everything was good and than on ultrasound in November 2018 there was no heartbeat.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
I got my diagnosis two weeks after D&C.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Had D&C than two weeks after that I did bloodwork and my HCG levels were high so I had hysteroscopy immediately.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Positive thinking and fast reactions from my doctors.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Coming to terms with losing baby. Expaining my disease to family and friends.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
They were really supportive. The amount of love and understanding I received was overwhelming. Nothing changed, maybe they show me more love than before.
What things have you stopped doing?
I stopped stressing about unimportant things so my anxiety levels dropped.
What do you think about the future?
Pretty optimistic and excited about future.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
My early 20’s. I studied and traveled.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
I would like to have baby soon.
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Living in the present, remembering the past and expecting the future.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Be optimistic, continue to live your life the best way you can and don’t bother yourself with explaining your condition to people that are not important to you.
