Family story

Jan 19, 2016

By: Marelle

We are a family of hemophilia B. I am the mother, a carrier. We have two children who are both severe patients, Jason (born 2004) and Ruben (born 2006). They are attending the European School. My husband works for the European Commission in Luxembourg. Myself I work for humanitarian projects of the Red Cross and Doctors without Borders. We have struggled with the vulnerability of the disease but have eventually survived as a family.
